From August to November, the warm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya become a maternal sanctuary for Humpback Whales migrating from Antarctica to nurse their young before returning south. A second seasonal migration from the Arctic spans December to March.
Additionally, resident pods of Common Bottlenose, Pantropical Spotted, and offshore Spinner Dolphins occupy these waters year-round, with peak multi-species activity aligning from August to December.

All private charters integrate high-grade marine provisions. Half-day coastal explorations include curated local snacks, fresh seasonal fruits, and premium chilled refreshments. Full-day journeys extend this protocol to include a complete artisan coastal lunch, with specialized vegan and vegetarian culinary options structured upon request.

Private deployments operate under rain or shine conditions. However, the captain maintains absolute authority to abort or postpone departures in the event of unsafe maritime environments; in such cases, immediate logistical rescheduling or full-rate adjustments will be initiated.

To respect local biological reserves and maintain optimal safety, guest capacity limits are strictly observed. The 6m coastal vessel accommodates up to 4 guests, while the 10m flagship power catamaran expands capacity for up to 12. Small domestic pets are welcome aboard private routes upon prior notice.
Private deployments operate seamlessly under varying marine weather. However, the captain retains ultimate authority to delay or adjust itineraries in response to adverse ocean conditions. Should a departure be canceled due to safety, immediate rescheduling or full-rate adjustments will be executed.
